Job summary

Intertek Testing Services (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a detail-oriented auditor to drive growth by conducting third-party social compliance audits across client sites. Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources, Health and Safety, Environment, Business Administration, or related field.

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and factories.
• Basic understanding of quality, HR, or HSE environments preferred but not required.
• Audit program exposure (e.g., SMETA, RBA, amfori, APSCA CSCA) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Self-motivated, proactive, alert, and able to work independently to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and perform third-party social compliance audits across sites per client requirements and QA procedures.
• Collect and monitor audit information, including local labor laws, safety regs, and industry profiles.
• Review client/region instructions and execute to align with expectations.
• Prepare, review, and deliver audit reports within timelines to offices or clients.
• Market Social Compliance Audits to drive regional growth and expand the customer base.
• Ensure internal quality systems are followed at all times.
• Provide training and guidance to customers to meet compliance standards.
• Represent the company at buyer meetings, training sessions, and workshops to stay updated.
• Undertake special projects as directed by Management.

About the role

Drive business growth by executing third-party compliance audits, maintaining strict quality assurance systems, and expanding the customer database in line with client and regional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and perform third-party social compliance audits across customer sites in accordance with client requirements and documented Quality Assurance Procedures

• Collect, monitor, and remain highly alert to related audit information, including applicable local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and unique industry profiles

• Review clear and specific instructions received from regional offices or clients, executing them seamlessly to ensure total alignment with client expectations

• Prepare, review, and deliver accurate audit reports within specified timelines to coordinating offices or respective clients

• Market Social Compliance Audits proactively to potential customers to drive regional business growth and expand the company's customer database

• Ensure internal quality systems and standards are properly and strictly followed at all times

• Provide clear training and guidance to customers where required to help them achieve and maintain necessary compliance standards

• Represent the company at buyer meetings, training sessions, and interactive workshops to continuously update industry knowledge and share insights back with team members

• Undertake specific projects or special assignments as directed by Management

Job Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources, Health and Safety, Environment, Business Administration, or a related discipline

• Fresh graduates with no prior work experience are welcome to apply

• Professional fluency in spoken Mandarin is required, as the role involves conducting independent, confidential on-site interviews with a predominantly Mandarin-speaking workforce during audits

• Willingness to travel frequently to various customer sites and factories to perform field audits

• Basic understanding of quality, human resources, or health and safety environments is preferred but not required

• Prior exposure to or qualifications in audit programs (e.g., SMETA, RBA, amfori, APSCA CSCA) is an advantage but not mandatory

• Highly self-motivated, proactive, alert, and able to work independently to achieve audit standards and business objectives

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle worker interviews with tact
