Job summary

Apple is seeking a QE Engineer to join the Emerging Technologies QA team. You will provide functional and integration QA for backend services and platforms, and contribute to automation to reduce regression cycles.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-quality releases across distributed applications, No-SQL platforms, security systems, and ML components. Bring strong problem-solving and communication to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software quality engineering or similar.
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
• Relational databases (SQL).
• Selenium, Gauge or Playwright experience.
• Linux/Unix environments.
• Automating REST based / web services.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience reporting and analyzing quality metrics.
• Ability to investigate and triage issues independently and with teammates.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management systems.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight schedules.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and well-organized with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• API Testing, Website testing, iOS apps, and building test tools and automation platforms.
• Shaping and improving QE processes and advocating for quality throughout development.
