Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced software quality assurance engineer to ensure the quality of our customer support applications. You will design and execute automated tests, write test scripts, and contribute to robust testing charters.

Responsibilities span collaborating with product and engineering teams, building maintainable test frameworks using Python/Java, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in software quality assurance testing.
• Experience as a team lead preferred.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining test frameworks using tools such as RestAssured or Selenium.
• Proficiency in one or multiple languages such as Java, Python, etc.
• Unparalleled written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to abstract technical conversations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail. A passion to get the little things right.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the consistent functionality, performance, and stability of Apple's customer support experience and applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, performance, and stability testing, leveraging proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or Swift.
• Implement scalable automation strategies, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to drive continuous feedback and enhance overall product quality.
• Identify, meticulously report, and perform first-level root cause analysis for defects, providing clear reproduction steps and collaborating with development teams for resolution.
• Craft informed and robust testing charters, and author comprehensive test scenarios and plans based on new and existing feature implementations.
• Drive quality efforts throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering, product management, and test automation teams.
