Job summary

NUSANTARA PRIME CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks a QC Technician to support sample preparation, physical and appearance checks, sieve tests, and dissolution checks. You will coordinate with external laboratories and maintain accurate QC records to ensure timely, safe product release.

The role emphasizes food safety compliance (GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000), with attention to detail and hands-on lab work. English communication and team coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Chemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science or a related scientific discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant QC/lab experience in food manufacturing, nutraceutical or related environment.
• Fresh candidates with relevant education and willingness to learn may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP or FSSC 22000 preferred.
• Understanding of sample handling, lab documentation and COA support preferred.
• Experience in food ingredient or premix manufacturing is an advantage.
• Able to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
• Good attention to detail and careful working habits.
• Able to communicate in English and coordinate with internal teams.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Outlook).
• Willing to perform hands-on laboratory and sample handling work.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Singapore; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Sample management: receive, label, prepare and organise RM/FG samples for QC checks.
• Coordinate sample tracking and testing priority follow-up with external labs.
• Prepare samples for physical, sieve, dissolution and appearance checks.
• Send samples to external labs and follow up on results.
• Record observations clearly in QC trackers with photos as needed.
• Escalate abnormal findings or release concerns promptly to QC Manager.
