Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to ensure ready-mix concrete meets quality, performance, and regulatory standards. You will implement QC plans, inspect raw materials, monitor batching, and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering, knowledge of concrete technology, and strong data handling with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent certificate in concrete technology.
• Experience in ready-mix concrete, concrete technology, construction materials, or a related industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the preparation and analysis of quality data and reports.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and enforce the Company's Quality Control Plan, procedures, and quality objectives for ready-mix concrete production
• Ensure that incoming raw materials are sampled, inspected, tested, and accepted in accordance with approved specifications, testing plans, and applicable standards
• Monitor concrete batching and production processes to ensure compliance with approved mix designs, production procedures, and customer specifications
• Review and verify test results and investigate abnormal trends or deviations from established control limits
• Support the development, optimisation, and validation of concrete mix designs to meet strength, durability, workability, and other project-specific requirements
• Work closely with Technical, Production, and Operations teams to resolve production and quality-related issues
• Investigate the root causes of quality issues, production deviations, and customer complaints
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and testing laboratories where necessary to address quality-related matters
• Maintain a safe, professional, and positive working environment and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management

About the role
