CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (Singapore Branch) is seeking a senior QA/QC professional to lead quality management across LNG and oil/gas projects at the Jurong Port site. The role requires steering QA/QC planning, audits, and vendor compliance for EPC and construction phases, ensuring ISO 9001 conformance and safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of relevant LNG & oil/gas project experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar management position.
• Experience managing QA/QC on large LNG & oil/gas projects.
• QA/QC planning on at least two major oil and gas projects.
• Workplace located at Jurong Port site.

Responsibilities

• Set up quality plans and procedures per project requirements.
• Define QA/QC requirements compliant with ISO 9001.
• Prepare quality risk matrix and criticality ratings for site systems, equipment and materials.
• Conduct site quality induction training for IPMT/EPC and sub-contractors teams.
• Ensure vendors comply with QA/QC requirements of the project.
• Perform quality auditing of engineering by sub-contractors and EPC phases.
• Monitor third-party certification of lifting devices, relief valves, vessels and exchangers.
• Manage civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation QA/QC engineers.
• Oversee preparation of data books for engineering, vendors, construction and commissioning work.

Job description

JD:

• Setting up Quality plan and procedures as requirements;
• Setting up QA/QC requirements which are compliant to ISO9001;
• Preparation of quality risk matrix and criticality ratings of site systems, equipment and materials;
• Conduct site quality induction training within the IPMT/EPC and sub-Contractors construction teams and as necessary;
• Compliance by vendors against QA/QC requirements of the project;
• Quality auditing of engineering by sub-Contractors;
• Quality auditing of EPC Phase and related sub-Contractors;
• Monitoring of third-party certification of lifting devices, relief valves, vessels and exchangers, etc.;
• Managing civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation QA/QC engineers;
• Managing preparation of data books for engineering, vendors, construction and commissioning work.

Requirements:

• B.S. or equivalent degree in engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects, particularly in the South East Asia.
• Have minimum 5 years of similar management position in major LNG & oil/gas projects.
• Experience of managing QA/QC activities on a large project in LNG & oil/ gas projects.
• QA/QC planning on at least two major oil and gas projects.
• The workplace is located at the Jurong Port site.
