Job summary

Beyondsoft Consulting (Singapore) Pte. Ltd in Singapore is seeking a junior QA tester to assist in executing test cases for software applications and system features, under guidance from Test Leads.

You will perform functional and basic regression testing, document defects in the tracking system, support test case documentation, and help with environment setup, with fresh graduates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing or QA. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience welcome.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking and preparing test documentation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking or test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
• Basic knowledge of Windows environments and application testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing test cases and test plans for software applications and system features.
• Perform functional and basic regression testing under the guidance of Test Leads.
• Identify and document software defects in the defect tracking system.
• Support test case documentation and updates based on product requirements.
• Assist with compatibility testing across different systems or devices.
• Record and report test results and observations accurately.
• Support the QA team in test environment setup and test execution.
• Participate in team discussions and testing reviews.
