Job summary

Beyondsoft Consulting (Singapore) Pte. Ltd invites a Software Tester (Hardware Systems) to join our hardware-focused testing team in Singapore. You will execute functional, system, integration, and regression tests on software for hardware products.

Develop and run test cases, document defects in Jira, validate software/firmware on hardware, and collaborate with Software, Firmware, and Hardware Engineers. Prepare test reports and drive testing efficiency through automation and AI tools;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of Software Testing / QA experience.
• Experience testing software on hardware or embedded systems is preferred.
• Hands on experience with Jira and common testing tools (e.g. Postman, Selenium, TestRail).
• Knowledge of STLC, Agile, and Windows/Linux environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, system, integration, and regression testing for software running on hardware products.
• Develop and execute test cases, document defects, and track issues using Jira.
• Validate software, firmware, and system functionality on hardware devices.
• Work closely with Software, Firmware, and Hardware Engineers to resolve issues.
• Prepare test reports and support release validation.
• Improve testing efficiency through automation and AI tools.
