Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. for a client in the M&E Engineering industry is seeking a QA Technician (Electrical) to join their team in East Singapore on a 3-year contract.

You will inspect electrical switchboards and assemblies, conduct in-process and final tests, and prepare inspection records. Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and support delivery schedules. Working hours are 5.5 days (Mon-Fri 8:30-18:00, Sat half-day); salary up to SGD 5,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of QA/QC experience in electrical or manufacturing environments.
• Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Familiar with electrical testing equipment, hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Willing to work Saturdays (half day).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electrical switchboards and assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings and safety standards.
• Conduct in-process inspections to verify installation and wiring against drawings.
• Perform final inspections and electrical testing including functional checks and dielectric tests.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports and NC documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to investigate defects and support delivery schedules.

Our esteemed client in the M&E Engineering industry is seeking a QA Technician (Electrical) to join their dynamic team:

Employment Type: 3 years contract

Position: QA Technician (Electrical)

Location: East (Nearest MRT: Paya Lebar)

Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 6pm; Half day on Sat)

Salary Package: Up to $5,000 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inspecting and testing electrical switchboards and assemblies to ensure compliance with technical drawings, safety standards and quality requirements before delivery.
• Conduct in-process inspections to verify component installation, wiring and assembly against electrical drawings and specifications.
• Perform final inspections and electrical testing, including functional checks, insulation resistance, dielectric strength and other relevant electrical tests.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports and non-conformance documentation.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to investigate defects, resolve quality issues and support delivery schedules.

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant QA/QC experience in electrical or manufacturing environments.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Familiar with electrical testing equipment, hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Able to commit work on Saturdays (half day).
