Job summary

SPEMOCEAN PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional with strong experience in procurement execution and vendor inspection.

The role requires ensuring vendors meet quality requirements, reviewing ITPs and FAT procedures, and leading meetings to resolve comments or discrepancies. The candidate should have a minimum of five years in QA procurement, solid knowledge of ISO-9001 and related standards, and IEC/ATEX/IECEX familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in QA procurement and vendor inspection.
• Solid knowledge of ISO-9001, IEEE, IEC, ATEX and IECEX standards and codes.
• Familiarity with purchase-order specific codes such as ISA RP12.6, ISA RP12.2.02, ISA TR12, ANSI MC96.1, IEEE 518/1100, IEC 60529, NEMA series, NEC and UL 94.
• IEC 60079 qualification is required; ATEX/IECEX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• To become familiar with the company's requirements
• Participate in meetings with the Vendor/Company to ensure vendors know the quality requirements
• Attend KOM and prepare the quality section of the KOM slide
• Review and comment on vendor documents (ITP, MPS, FAT procedure, report, etc.)
• Communicate with the vendor regarding controversial comments or feedback and raise clarification meetings if necessary
• Organize PIM meetings as host
• Verify NOI readiness and forward to TPC coordinator for vendor inspection
• Review and comment on the TPC inspection report
• Issue NCR if discrepancies are identified and expedite the vendor's resolution / RCA within 3 working days of receiving NCR
• Review the manufacturer's record book / As-built dossier

Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification

• Shall have a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.


• Shall have min five years and above (5) experience directly relating to the Quality Assurance procurement execution and vendor inspection activities.


• Shall have knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001, IEEE, IEC, ATEX and IECEX International standard and code requirements and implementation.


• Shall demonstrate working knowledge of codes required by the purchase order, such as ISA RP12.6, ISA RP12.2.02,ISA TR12., ANSI MC96.1, IEEE 518, IEEE 1100, IEC 60529, NEMA IC S 6,NEMA 250, NEMA VE 1, NEMA VE 2, NFPA 70/ National Electrical Code (NEC) and UL 94, etc.
