Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance and Procurement professional to oversee the procurement and manufacturing process of instrument equipment such as DCS, SCADA, RTU, and ESD systems from RFQ to shipment.

You will review vendor documents, participate in KOM, organize PIM meetings, verify NOI readiness, and issue NCRs when needed, ensuring compliance with ISO-9001, IEEE, IEC, and ATEX/IECEx standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in Quality Assurance, procurement, and vendor inspection.
• Knowledge of ISO-9001, IEEE, IEC, ATEX, and IECEx standards.
• Familiarity with codes such as ISA RP12.6, ISA RP12.2.02, IEEE 518, IEC 60529, NEC/UL 94.
• IEC 60079 qualification; ATEX IECEX adds value.

Responsibilities

• To become familiar with the company's requirements.
• Participate in vendor and company meetings to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Attend KOM and prepare the quality section of the KOM slide.
• Review and comment on vendor documents (ITP, MPS, FAT procedure, report).
• Communicate with the vendor regarding comments or feedback and raise clarifications if needed.
• Organize PIM meetings as host.
• Verify NOI readiness and forward to TPC coordinator for vendor inspection.
• Review and comment on the TPC inspection report.
• Issue NCR if discrepancies are identified and expedite resolutions within 3 working days.
• Review the manufacturer's record book / As-built dossier.

Job description

Participate in the procurement and manufacturing process of instrument equipment, such as DistributedControl System (DCS), Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems, from RFQ to shipment, handling any quality issues (TBE, PO, KOM, PIM, Manufacturing, In-progress Inspection, Pressure Test, FAT, Final Inspection, etc.).

Responsibilities

1. To become familiar with the company's requirements
2. Participate in various meetings with the Vendor/Companyto ensure that the vendor knows the company's quality requirements.
3. Attend KOM and prepare the quality section of the KOM slide.
4. Review and comment on vendor documents (ITP, MPS, FAT procedure, report, etc.)
5. Communicate with the vendor/COMPANY regarding controversial comments or feedback, and raise a clarification meeting if necessary.
6. Organize PIM meeting as host
7. Verify NOI readiness and forward to TPC coordinator for vendor inspection
8. Review and comment on the TPC inspection report
9. Issue NCR if discrepancies are identified and expedite thevendor's resolution proposal / RCA (If necessary) within 3 working days of receiving the NCR by the vendor.
10. Review the manufacturer's record book / As-built dossier.

Requirements

1. Shall have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
2. Shall have min five years and above (5) experiencedirectly relating to Quality Assurance, procurement execution, and vendor inspection activities.
3. Shall have knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001, IEEE, IEC, ATEX, and IECEx international standards and code requirements and implementation.
4. 4Shall demonstrate working knowledge of codes required by the purchase order, such as ISA RP12.6, ISA RP12.2.02, ISA TR12, ANSIMC96.1, IEEE 518, IEEE 1100, IEC 60529, NEMA ICS 6, NEMA 250, NEMA VE 1, NEMA VE2, NFPA 70/ National Electrical Code (NEC) and UL 94, etc.
5. Shall have IEC 60079 qualification. ATEX IECEX will be an added value
