Job summary

STI ADVANCE (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a QA/QC Inspector to manage welding quality activities, prepare inspection plans, and coordinate with fabrication teams. You will witness welding tests, review WPS/PQR, and ensure compliance with ISO QA standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring materials, test packs, and documentation, while liaising with client inspectors and engineers to deliver final QA records.

• Prepare Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Prepare test packs for all tests performed.
• Witness welder qualification test (WQT) and procedure qualification test.
• Know P&ID and ISO drawings.
• Review Pre-Test Checklist, Punch list and Post-Test checklist.
• Check weld joint prep, fit-up, alignment & dimensional inspection per drawings.
• Monitor welding activities per WPS.
• Review approved WPS and PQR.
• Monitor consumable storage, handling, packing and drying per project procedures.
• Monitor Pre-heat, interpass temperature and inter Pass cleaning per WPS.
• Monitor and follow up QA/QC documents per ISO standards.
• Conduct material receiving inspection and verify MTC and traceability.
• Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and NCRs when required.
• Coordinate with fabrication team, engineers, and client inspectors during inspections and audits.
• Prepare and review Quality Manual, Quality Plan, ITP, procedures and work instructions, Method Statement, Test package and final as-built documentation.
• Supervise welding and coordinate QC activities with client/contractor representatives.
• Prepare technical analysis reports from inspection findings.
• Maintain and update QA/QC reports and statistics.

• 4, Knowledge of technical drawings such as P&ID and ISO Drawings.
• 5, Knowledge of Pre-Test Checklist, Punch list and Post-Test checklist.
• 6, Checking weld joint preparation, fit up, alignment & dimensional inspection as per drawings.
• 7, Monitoring Welding activities as per WPS
• 8, Review of approved WPS and PQR.
• 9, Monitoring of consumable storage, handling, packing and drying temperature as per project approved procedure.
• 10, Monitoring of Pre heat, interpass temperature and inter pass cleaning as per WPS.
• 11, Monitoring & follow up of Quality documents as per ISO standards.
• 12, Conduct material receiving inspection and verify Mill Test Certificates (MTC) and material traceability.
• 13, Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when required.
• 14, Coordinate with fabrication team, engineers, and client inspectors during inspection and quality audits.
• 15, Prepare and review of Quality Manual, Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan, Procedures and work-instructions, Method Statement, Test package and Final completion [as-built] documentation.
• 16, Supervising Welding and Coordinate all QC activities and liaising with Client / Contractor representatives.
• 17, Preparation of Technical analysis reports based on the inspection findings.
• 18, Keeping track of all generated Quality documents for the project and final compilation.
• 19, Maintain and update QA/QC reports and statistical data.
