Job summary

VDL ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES GROUP (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced QA Leader to drive manufacturing quality assurance across assembly operations. You will lead in-process and outgoing QA, analyze quality trends, and implement CAPA using 8D, FMEA, and related tools.

You will supervise inspectors, partner with engineering, and ensure documentation and COCs meet stringent customer and internal standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical) or Materials Science.
5 years QA experience with at least 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
Expert in 8D, SPC, MSA, FMEA, QFD, 6-sigma and PPAP principles.
Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings.
Excellent leadership and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

Lead in-process and outgoing QA activities to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
Drive quality performance using indicators such as FPY, DPU and customer metrics.
Analyze defects and non-conformances to identify risks and improvements.
Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects for process efficiency.
Coordinate CAPA activities and verification/validation to prevent recurrence.
Review and approve quality docs, inspection records, and COCs prior to shipment.
