You will help ensure mission-critical applications meet high standards of functionality, reliability, and data integrity across enterprise systems. Work with cross-functional teams to design test scenarios, develop plans, and execute comprehensive testing across multiple delivery phases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software quality assurance for enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is a well-established public‑sector organisation in Singapore overseeing large-scale digital transformation initiatives across multiple enterprise systems. They are seeking experienced QA Engineers / Software Test Engineers to join their quality assurance function, ensuring that mission‑critical applications meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and technical integrity. This is an excellent opportunity to play a meaningful role in end‑to‑end software delivery within a structured yet collaborative environment, working alongside cross‑functional teams of developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases aligned with project objectives
• Develop, maintain, and manage test plans, test scripts, and test data to ensure thorough and traceable test coverage
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and end‑to‑end testing across multiple delivery phases
• Conduct API testing and database validation to verify system integrations and confirm data accuracy
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects systematically throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution
• Perform data validation and reconciliation activities in support of data migration exercises, verifying integrity, completeness, and accuracy of migrated datasets
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test preparation, stakeholder coordination, and defect management
• Maintain thorough testing documentation, including test evidence, defect reports, and test results, while adhering to defined QA processes and best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software quality assurance and application testing for enterprise‑grade solutions (candidates with over 7 years of relevant experience will be considered for the Senior‑level role)
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including both manual and automated testing approaches
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience across functional, integration, system, regression, and end‑to‑end testing disciplines
• Ability to work effectively in Agile or iterative delivery environments, contributing actively to sprint ceremonies and continuous quality improvement
• Experience with mobile application testing (is a bonus)
• Familiarity with test automation tools or frameworks (is a bonus)
