Job summary

H2 GAMES PTE. LTD. is seeking a backend QA engineer to test APIs and platform services, and to own automated tests integrated into CI. You’ll work with engineers to understand new features, risks, and to translate them into reliable API/integration tests. The role involves AI tools to enhance test creation, data generation, and failure analysis.

You will maintain test environments, data, mocks, and tooling, and collaborate on improving testing strategy and quality practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 1–3 years of backend testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and test automation using modern frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as TypeScript or Python.
• Familiarity with AI tools in development or testing workflows.
• Comfort with SQL, ELK/Redis, CI/CD pipelines, and backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Test backend services, including API, performance, and stability testing.
• Own test automation and convert new features into reliable tests for CI pipelines.
• Leverage AI tools to write tests, generate data, review code, and troubleshoot failures.
• Maintain test environments, data, mocks, and testing tooling.
• Investigate bugs with engineers and help improve testing strategy and quality practices.
