Job summary

AUGMENTUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a QA Software Tester to design and execute detailed test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and usability across web and mobile platforms.

You will perform manual testing, identify defects, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Proficiency in Python, OOP/SOLID, and Agile practices, plus Jira/Confluence, Git, and Zephyr, is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Python programming fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles.
• Experience in developing and debugging software applications.
• Familiarity with Git and SDLC; Agile with Jira/Confluence.

About your role

Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.

Perform manual testing on web and mobile platforms to identify, document, and track defects.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with intended functionality.

Utilize Jira and Zephyr for test case management, bug tracking, and reporting.

Support regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT) throughout development cycles.

Contribute to the integration of automated tests (e.g., using Selenium or Appium) into the CI/CD pipeline, where applicable, to enhance test efficiency and coverage.

Maintain clear documentation of test outcomes and collaborate on issue resolution and quality improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of programming fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming (OOP), and adherence to SOLID principles.
• Experience in developing and debugging software applications.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development life cycles.
• Experience or familiarity with Agile development practices, with proficiency in tools like Jira for task management and Confluence for documentation.
