What will you be doing?
- Reporting to our Lead QA Engineer.
- You will be Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities.
- Utilising AWS technologies for test environment setup, monitoring, and reporting.
- Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Identifying and documenting bugs in the testing phase.
- Conducting regression, integration and performance testing after bugs are resolved.
- Identifying and documenting software defects, tracking issues, and working with the development team to verify fixes.
- Collaborating with customer support teams to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues.
- Leveraging AWS monitoring tools for proactive issue detection.
- Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Actively participating in knowledge sharing and contributing to the growth and development of the QA team.
Requirements
- At least 3 - 7 years of work experience in software software quality assurance, preferably in CcaaS, CPaaS, or Voice related domains.
- Good experience with QA methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall or others.
- Knowledge in writing SQL queries and / or other scripting languages.
- Experience in manual testing, and proficiency in industry leading test automation tools such as Selenium, Junit, Test NG or others.
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch or others preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS services for testing, such as AWS Device Farm or AWS CodeBuild or others preferred.
- Solid understanding of web technologies and APIs.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and oral communication abilities in English (additional Asian languages would be a great bonus, for liaising with cross regional teams and partners).
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Continuous learning mindset, staying up-to-date with the latest QA trends and technologies.
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related subject.
