Job summary

Michael Page Singapore partners with a multinational consumer products manufacturer to deliver regional procurement analytics across Asia. The role focuses on data-led sourcing, cost optimisation and strategic decision support through data insights.

You will transform complex purchasing data into actionable insights, build dashboards, monitor supplier performance and support standardisation across markets to improve reporting accuracy and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analysis or BI.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Engineering or Finance.
• Strong analytical skills with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent Excel skills including Power Query and dashboards.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysing purchasing and supplier data to identify savings opportunities and sourcing efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain procurement performance dashboards and management reporting.
• Support supplier performance tracking through scorecards, KPI monitoring and data analysis.
• Conduct cost modelling, pricing analysis and total cost of ownership assessments.
• Monitor market factors such as raw material pricing and tariffs that impact purchasing strategies.
• Contribute to procurement process improvement and standardisation across markets.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and data governance.

Job Description

• Reporting to the regional procurement team, you will play a key role in assisting in purchasing performance, supplier management, and strategic sourcing decisions by transforming complex data into actionable business insights.
• Analyse purchasing and supplier data to identify savings opportunities, spending trends and sourcing efficiencies
• Develop and maintain procurement performance dashboards and management reporting
• Assist with supplier performance tracking through scorecards, KPI monitoring and data analysis
• Conduct cost modelling, pricing analysis and total cost of ownership assessments
• Monitor market factors including raw material pricing, tariffs and cost movements that may impact purchasing strategies
• Contribute to procurement process improvement and standardisation initiatives across multiple markets
• Partner with regional stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy, data governance and decision-making effectiveness

The Successful Applicant

• Has 3 years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analysis, business intelligence or a related field.
• Has a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience handling large and complex datasets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data modelling, Power Query and pivot tables
• Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, Dynamic 365 or similar business intelligence and visualisation tools
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supplier management and cost analysis methodologies
• Strong business acumens and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing recurring reporting cycles
