Job summary

PEOPLE PROFILERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced procurement leader to own the end-to-end function for regional Asia, based in the CBD of Singapore.

You will develop strategy, manage RFx/tenders, and negotiate major data centre projects, while driving cost efficiency and supplier performance. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or related field, 8+ years in procurement for capital projects, and strong knowledge of e-procurement systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business; CIPS is an advantage.
• 8+ years of procurement and sourcing experience in data centre, infrastructure, real estate or capital projects.
• Hands-on track record of running end-to-end tenders.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with proven cost savings.
• Self-starter who can build processes in a fast-moving environment.
• Working knowledge of e-procurement systems and requisition-to-pay processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategy, policies and processes, including KPIs, delegation of authority and approval workflows.
• Manage end-to-end tenders: RFx, bid evaluation, recommendation reports, negotiation, award and contract execution.
• Validate approvals, raise purchase requisitions and RFAs, and ensure accuracy before issuing POs.
• Lead commercial negotiations on major data centre construction, equipment and services packages.
• Drive year-on-year cost efficiency using should-cost, benchmarking and total-cost-of-ownership analysis.
• Build strategic relationships with key OEMs, contractors and service providers, and monitor supplier performance against SLAs.
• Lead OPEX bidding and supplier selection during the operations phase.
• Administer procurement / e-Procurement systems, and maintain procurement reports and dashboards for management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, ESG and internal control requirements, and manage supply chain risk on long-lead equipment.
