Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Purchaser / Purchasing Clerk in the manufacturing sector to handle end-to-end purchasing activities and ensure timely delivery of quality parts for production. You will prepare requisitions, issue POs, monitor balances, and coordinate closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain smooth material flow.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience (plastic moulding preferred).

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing (plastic moulding).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing function.
• Check purchasing documents to ensure correctness and adequacy.
• Prepare, issue and monitor requisitions and purchase orders; ensure balances accurate and parts delivered on time.
• Follow up purchases to ensure timely delivery; collect and check delivery performance of automotive vendors.
• Maintain and update approved vendor list.
• Recommend quality improvement measures to immediate superior.
• Prepare material plan.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure quality parts delivered and continuous material flow per production requirement.
• Visit supplier as needed to verify and check any problems related to delivery.
• Coordinate and act as mediator between supplier and planner concerning forecast and delivery plan as per customer required quantity and schedule.
• Monitor material inventory and ensure safe stock of materials as per customer forecast and production schedule.
