Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a Fresher for a Purchase & Supply Chain role in Singapore. You will process and manage purchase orders, coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers, and monitor shipments, inventory, and delivery schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process and manage POs to manufacturers/suppliers and follow shipments.
• Escalate orders to fulfill customers’ requests.
• Inventory planning and control, expedite orders and shipments clearance.
• Demand planning and material replenishment; monitor forecast vs actual.
• Monitor warehouse space and maintain stock at safe levels.
• Issue POs with correct terms and pricing.
• Follow-up to secure favorable payment terms.
• Check orders with manufacturers, arrange shipment clearance.
• Perform Goods Receipt in SAP and validate supplier invoices.
• Negotiate with sales and suppliers.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing and management of Purchase Orders to manufacturers/ suppliers, follow-up on shipments schedules, production schedules, shipments clearance, and inventories control
• Escalation of orders with manufacturers/ suppliers to fulfill customers’ requests
• Inventory planning and control, expediting and follow-up on orders and shipments clearance, and management to meet customers’ requests (this may include short lead-time orders)
• Demand planning, material replenishment planning, monitoring of forecast entered by Sales team- highlight if the forecast vs actual variance is out too much
• To monitor warehouse storage space for optimum inventory and maintain minimum stock and at the same time keep stock at safety level
• Issue of Purchase Order with correct Shipping/Delivery term and pricing
• Follow-up to ensure the best payment term is granted by manufacturers/ suppliers
• Checking on orders process and schedules with manufacturers/ suppliers, arrangement of shipment clearance for storage, etc.
• Perform Good Receive in SAP and validate supplier invoices
• Negotiate with sales and suppliers
• Any other ad-hoc as assigned by supervisor
