Job summary

Oneness M&C Pte Ltd is seeking a procurement specialist in Singapore to source, evaluate, and purchase M&E materials for ongoing projects. You will obtain quotations, negotiate terms, issue POs, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 2+ years in purchasing within the construction or M&E sector, with strong knowledge of M&E products and suppliers. Proficiency in MS Office and excellent negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the construction or M&E industry.
• Experience purchasing M&E materials is preferred.
• Good knowledge of M&E products, suppliers and the local construction market.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and purchase M&E materials, equipment and services in accordance with project requirements.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams to ensure materials are delivered on schedule.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status, deliveries and any discrepancies.
• Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis for management review.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when required.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management
