Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd in Pioneer, Singapore seeks a Purchaser to support sourcing and purchasing of marine vessel spare parts and commodities. The role offers up to SGD 4,000 monthly plus AWS and VB, with typical Monday to Friday hours and half-day Saturday, mostly WFH but standby.

A Diploma in related fields is preferred and IT skills with MS Office are expected. Ideal candidates have some purchasing or logistics experience in shipping, and a detail-oriented mindset to ensure accurate records

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field.
• Experience in purchasing, logistics or shipping preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist end-to-end procurement for marine vessel spare parts and commodities.
• Prepare, issue and track purchase orders; follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality, quantity, specs or invoicing issues.
• Maintain purchasing records, vendor info and inventory reports per procedures and audits.
• Verify invoices against quotations and delivery orders; resolve mismatches with suppliers.

Job Title: Purchaser / Assistant Purchaser

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our procurement team. You will be responsible for supporting the sourcing and purchasing of marine vessel spare parts and commodity goods. This role provides a strong foundation for a career in maritime procurement and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end procurement process for marine vessel spare parts, technical stores, provisions, and other commodities.
• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders accurately. Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery of goods.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to resolve issues related to quality, quantity, specifications, or invoicing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records, vendor information, and inventory reports in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements.
• Verify suppliers' invoices against quotations and delivery orders. Ensure ordered items are received correctly and liaise with suppliers to resolve any mismatches.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Candidates with experience in purchasing, logistics, or the shipping industry will be preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
