Responsibilities

• Source the most competitive prices and suitable products.
• Communicate with suppliers on product availability and delivery schedules.
• Verify purchase requisitions from project teams and clarify items; suggest alternatives.
• Check stock across project sites and schedule on-time deliveries.
• Prepare purchase orders by verifying specs and prices; obtain approvals.
• Verify receipt of items by comparing with orders and quantities.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Source most competitive price and suitable product;
• To communicate with supplier on product availability and delivery;
• Verifies purchase requisitions by project team; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
• Check current stock on other project site; scheduling on time delivery.
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered;
• Other work related duty assigned by management
