Job summary

Adecco, partnering with a Singapore statutory board, seeks a Public Transport Fares & Policy Officer to support fare policy reviews, regulatory functions, research, data analysis and policy development that enhances fare affordability and financial sustainability of Singapore's public transport system.

Work on-site in Central-West Singapore with standard hours and a focus on policy research, analysis and stakeholder engagement to deliver policy papers, reports and options.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics or a related discipline.
• Interest or experience in economics, finance, research or public policy.
• Experience in policy research, formulation and development is advantageous.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on public transport fare policies and practices in Singapore and overseas.
• Analyse data and develop policy options related to fare affordability and financial sustainability.
• Perform statistical analysis and prepare policy papers, reports and presentations.
• Engage with stakeholders, industry players and government agencies on policy matters.
• Support regulatory and licensing functions of the organisation.
• Handle feedback and enquiries related to public transport matters.
• Undertake other policy and operational duties as assigned.
