Job summary

The Singapore Public Service, including LTA, is seeking a policy analyst to help shape vehicle ownership and mobility policies. You will analyse trends, engage stakeholders and develop policy solutions at the intersection of transport policy, technology and data.

You will prepare policy papers for senior management, monitor developments, and collaborate with government agencies, industry partners and the community to advance Singapore's long-term transport and mobility goals.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in public policy and urban mobility.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with quantitative data.
• Good writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (Excel, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review policies relating to vehicle ownership and usage.
• Conduct quantitative and policy analyses to understand travel patterns and mobility challenges.
• Design policy interventions leveraging digital technologies and nudges.
• Monitor developments in transport, technology and mobility services.
• Prepare policy papers and briefing materials for senior management.
