Job summary

Trend AI, the Singapore government-focused unit of Trend Micro, seeks an accomplished public-sector sales leader to own the Singapore Government strategy and growth. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will lead and develop the government sales team and provide executive sponsorship for strategic opportunities across ministries and agencies.

Qualifications

Significant enterprise technology sales experience with Singapore Government/public sector.
Proven people-management experience leading sales teams to ambitious targets.
Demonstrated success winning complex, multi-year, multi-stakeholder solutions.
Strong professional reputation and trusted network within Singapore government technology ecosystem.
Executive presence for management-level conversations on transformation, security, AI adoption, governance and risk.
Strong commercial judgement across account planning, qualification, negotiation, forecasting and contract closure.
Highly driven with long-term customer stewardship.
Experience aligning direct reports, virtual teams and partners around shared goals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Ability to meet regulatory or security-clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Singapore Government sales team with clear expectations and performance culture.
Own go-to-market strategy, team coverage, pipeline and revenue by agency and use case.
Translate country objectives into team plans; inspect execution and remove barriers.
Attract, retain and develop top sales talent and build succession plans.
Develop trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders and procurement teams.
Provide executive sponsorship for strategic opportunities through tender to expansion.
Navigate public-sector procurement frameworks and governance requirements.
Position Trend AI’s value in business terms, focusing on transformation, security, and risk.
Mobilise cross-functional pursuit teams across solutions engineering, customer success, product, legal and finance.
Build a high-impact partner ecosystem with SI, cloud providers and advisory partners.
Maintain rigorous opportunity qualification, forecasting and CRM hygiene; report risks and next steps.
Represent Trend AI at government forums and influence product and policy decisions.
Capture market intelligence to guide regional go-to-market decisions.
