Job summary

TechX Ventures PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on IT Specialist to oversee end-to-end IT operations, cybersecurity and digital enablement within a public-sector-linked environment. You will help ensure availability, security and governance of systems supporting events, programmes and partnerships.

The role requires strong technical foundation, independence, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a lean organisation. Experience with Microsoft 365, IAM and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT operations, infrastructure and end-user support in small to mid-sized teams.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge, data protection and IT governance experience.
• Experience with Microsoft-based environments and IAM practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations, networks, devices, servers, cloud services and collaboration tools.
• Maintain high availability, performance and reliability across IT platforms.
• Manage IT assets, licences, and inventories; provide Level 2/3 support and vendor liaison.
• Develop IT policies, SOPs and documentation for resilience.
• Plan upgrades, improvements and technology refresh cycles within budget.
• Lead cybersecurity posture, including endpoint protection and access control.
• Ensure compliance with public-sector/government-linked ICT standards and data protection.
• Manage incident response and post-incident follow-up actions.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and staff training.
