Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Therapy Support Assistant to assist residents through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of occupational and physical therapists.

You will help with therapy sessions, set up equipment, monitor compliance, and maintain a clean, safe therapy space. A WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services plus at least 2 years' healthcare/therapy experience are required.

Qualifications

• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services.
• Min 2 years experience in healthcare or therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assist resident through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance overall physical function
• Assist PT and OT with the activities for resident
• Monitor treatment compliance and record developmental milestones or concerns
• Setup equipment for therapy session and ensure area is clean and safe
• Observe and report resident progress or challenges to the occupational therapist
• Support the occupational therapist during group therapy session
