Job summary

National University Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Psychologist to provide psychometric assessments and develop intervention programmes for patients in the Child Development Unit of the Department of Paediatrics.

You will contribute to data collection and analysis to support research and psychoeducational activities, under the supervision of a Senior Psychologist, and participate in teaching, training, and intern supervision.

Responsibilities

To conduct appropriate psychometric assessments and result interpretation for referred patients.
To accurately document assessment findings and make appropriate recommendations.
To develop, implement and evaluate appropriate intervention / group programmes for referred patients.
To develop materials for teaching and training.
To provide in-service training for department staff as needed.
To provide specialised teaching and supervision to psychology interns on clinical attachment.
To contribute to team level operational tasks.
To participate in research projects as a member of the research team, as appropriate.
To provide expertise for queries from magazines, newspapers or other forms of media from our Corporate Communications department.

Overview and purpose of the position
