Job summary

JLL is seeking a Technical Executive to oversee technical aspects of property management and maintenance in Singapore. You will collaborate with property managers and maintenance teams to ensure buildings are safe, compliant, and efficient, with a focus on energy-saving initiatives.

You will evaluate building systems, manage multiple projects, and implement technology integrations such as building automation and IoT.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Worker – Grade 7 is mandatory.
• 5+ years in engineering, facilities management, or related field.
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field required.
• Proven experience in property management or technical maintenance roles.
• Knowledge of building systems incl. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Familiarity with energy management and sustainability practices.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Proficiency in using property management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical aspects of property management, including building systems, infrastructure, and maintenance protocols.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans with property managers.
• Identify opportunities to optimize energy usage and implement sustainable solutions.
• Engage and manage relationships with service providers and contractors.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and compliance issues.
• Assist in budgeting and cost management for technical operations.
• Evaluate and implement building automation and IoT technologies.
• Stay updated on local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and expenses.
