Job summary

JLL is seeking a Technical Officer in Singapore to assist and support M&E Executives, lead Technicians, and manage day-to-day operations of building and M&E systems. The role involves monitoring system performance, supervising preventive maintenance, and coordinating tenancy fit-out works.

You will oversee vendors, ensure timely repairs, manage utility readings, and contribute to cost-saving measures while maintaining safety and compliance standards across M&E activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Building Services/Real Estate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A team player who is flexible and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support M&E Executives; lead Technicians in technical services.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance and operation of building and M&E systems.
• Monitor systems for efficiency, safety and alignment with design specs.
• Supervise preventive maintenance plans and procurement of parts.
• Administer PTWs and manage vendors; verify works on completion.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance to meet timelines and standards.
• Inspect plumbing fittings and detect defects; monitor and adjust lighting.
• Lead, supervise, and guide technicians.
• Monitor utilities consumption and take corrective actions.
• Review cost-saving measures to improve durability and reduce consumption.
• Coordinate tenancy fit-out works; monitor M&E aspects in tenants’ upgrades.
• Review tenants' submissions with Landlord’s vetting consultants; provide timely comments.
• Ensure compliance with Fit-Out guidelines; oversee landlord’s subdivision works.
• Attend meetings with prospects, tenants, and Owner; respond to requests for power needs.
• Prepare weekly tenancy fit-out status reports; track budgets.
