Job summary

Monee, a leading digital payments provider in Southeast Asia, is seeking a Fraud Risk Analyst to safeguard ShopeePay promotions and cashback ecosystems. You will analyze transaction patterns, identify vulnerabilities in campaigns, and design proactive defenses to prevent losses.

Collaborating with Marketing, Product, Merchants, and Data Science, you will implement real-time risk rules, monitor KPIs, and conduct post-mortems to prevent recurrence while maintaining smooth user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL to query high-volume databases.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis or modeling.
• Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI/Qlik Sense.

Responsibilities

• Review promo campaigns to identify fraud vulnerabilities before launch.
• Analyze large datasets to detect promo abuse trends.
• Design real-time risk rules and thresholds to block fraud.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Merchants, and Data Science to build automated features that reduce promo leakage.
• Lead incident investigations and implement immediate mitigation strategies.
• Define KPIs like Fraud ROI and False Positive Rates; report to senior leadership.
