Job summary

Changi Airports International Pte Ltd, through the Division: Changi Airport Planners and Engineers, seeks an experienced project professional to manage and execute the future Terminal 5 and its associated facilities.

You will support the delivery of Terminal 2 Connection Works across all project life-cycle stages, emphasizing permits, access approvals, and interfaces within an operational airport environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a good degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure or airport projects.
• Prior SO Rep Assistant or similar role experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage permits, closures, airport passes and access approvals for project works.
• Coordinate stakeholder interfaces and access arrangements to support project delivery.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure safety and project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover and operational readiness activities.

Job Description

As part of our project management team representing our client, you will be involved in the management and execution of the future Changi Airport Terminal 5 and its associated buildings and facilities. You will support the delivery of Terminal 2 Connection Works as a whole project life cycle from project inception, procurement or services and works, design development, construction and handover with key focus on managing permits, access approvals, stakeholder interfaces and assigned construction activities, ensuring safe, compliant and timely project execution within an operational airport environment.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

• Manage permits, closures, airport passes and access approvals for project works.
• Coordinate stakeholder interfaces and access arrangements to support project delivery.
• Supervise assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with safety, operational and project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover and operational readiness activities.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Good degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related fields, preferably recognized by Professional Engineers Board.
• At least 6 years of experience in construction, infrastructure or airport projects. Experience in airport environment will be advantageous.
• Prior experience in performing the role of a SO Rep Assistant or similar capacity in past project(s) will be advantageous.
• Strong experience in project management, stakeholder coordination and interface with other disciplines (C&S/Architect/Geotechnical/Systems).
• Able to deliver key project milestones in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent, self-motivated, driven and possess good analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Able to understand technical drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.
• Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
