Job summary

Changi Airports International Pte Ltd is seeking a Manager/Assistant Manager for Projects & Development to lead planning, procurement, and delivery of airport landside development and major works. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture/Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 6 years engineering-related work experience.
• Experience in live operation A&A is a plus.
• Familiar with ISO9000 and ISO14000 standards.
• Innovative, analytical and with problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player, self-motivated with multi-tasking in fast-paced projects.
• 3-year contract position.

Responsibilities

• Plan, procure, execute and close of a project.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define goals, scope, deliverables, deadlines and budget.
• Plan budgets based on scope and requirements and track costs to deliver project within budget.
• Prepare a detailed project plan to schedule milestones, workstreams and activities.
• Manage delivery of project according to this plan.
• Track and monitor project schedule and provide regular reports on project status to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks affecting delivery.
• Manage relationships and communication with partners and stakeholders to align with goals.
• Manage procurement of consultants and contractors and drive the team for best outcome.
• Monitor contractors’ works on safety, health, environmental compliance and airport requirements.
• Ensure work execution complies with authorities and contract conditions.
• Engage in transformative efforts to drive innovation across the organization.

Description:

We are looking for motivated and energetic individual who will be part of Changi Airport Group (CAG) Engineering & Development Cluster’s Master Planning & Development team, whose function is to proactively manage and deliver new airport landside development, infrastructure and/or terminal facilities to enhance capacity and passenger experience. You are required to coordinate processes and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and business partners to achieve a common objective of delivering the project with best desired outcome safely, on time, within budget and with good quality for CAG.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, procurement, execution and closure of a project.
• Work with internal and external stakeholder to define project goals or objectives, scope, deliverables, deadlines and budget.
• Plan and organise budget based on scope and requirements and track costs to deliver project within budget.
• Prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
• Manage delivery of project according to this plan.
• Track and monitor project schedule and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks which may impact successful delivery of projects.

Requirements:

• Good degree in Engineering/Architecture/Quantity Surveyor
• Minimum 6 years working experience related to engineering.
• Relevant work experience in live operation A&A will have an added advantage.
• Familiar with ISO9000 and ISO14000
• Innovative, creative and with good analytical thinking ability, qualitative/quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good team player, self-motivated with strong ability to multi-task and able to handle fast-paced projects.
