Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery in Singapore. You will direct project teams, review plans, and ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards while controlling budgets and schedules.

The role requires extensive experience in corporate or senior management, with a proven track record in risk management and driving efficiencies in construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building or Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience at corporate or senior management level.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee end-to-end construction project delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, contractual obligations, quality standards and delivery risks.
• Review and endorse construction plans, tender documents and relevant submissions.
• Lead project managers, construction managers, senior engineers and other project teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
• Oversee quality assurance, regulatory compliance, testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out.
• Manage defects, outstanding works and rectification activities during the defects liability period.
• Drive workplace safety and health initiatives, environmental sustainability and green building practices.
• Monitor financial performance, resource allocation and project forecasts.
• Lead continuous improvement and the adoption of appropriate construction technologies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, industry standards and professional codes of practice.
