Job summary

Bond Group in Singapore is seeking a highly experienced M&E Design Engineer to lead the design and site execution of mechanical and electrical systems. You will monitor progress, liaise with clients and engineers, and guide a team of engineers and supervisors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a diploma or degree in M&E, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft tools.

• Strong site management and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute contracts progress and design mechanical & electrical systems.
• Monitor site progress and liaise with clients, consultants, main contractor, subcontractors and authorities.
• Attend site meetings and daily briefings.
• Guide and supervise engineers, assistants, and supervisors.
• Review drawings and prepare schedules.
• Prepare subcontractor progress claims and quotations.
• Monitor quality control and safety compliance.
• Perform testing and commissioning at site.
• Maintain records for M&E issues.
• Involve in tender processes.

Job description

Minimum - 5 years experience

Job Description :

- Responsible for all the execution of contracts progress

- To design mechanical & electrical system

- Monitor site progress as well as liaises with Clients, Consultants, main contractor, Subcontractors & authorities to ensure efficient and timely delivery assignment

- Report the site progress & site issue to Project Director / Project General Manager / Senior Project Manager

- To attend meetings & daily briefing at site

- To guide & supervise Engineers / Assistant Engineers / Supervisors

- To check drawings & prepare relevant schedule

- To prepare check sub-contractor’s progress claim and prepare quotation

- To monitor & supervise work progression, Quality Control & ensure that safety regulation is observed.

- To perform testing and commissioning at work site

- Maintain proper record for M&E issue

- To involve in Tender

Requirements :

- Preferably possess Diploma or Degree in Mechanical &Electrical or a related discipline. Candidates with other qualifications and relevant experience are welcome to apply.

- Preferably with a minimum of 5 years’ mechanical & electrical system design knowledge.

- Good site management, budget control & supervision skills

- Good interpersonal skills

- Strong Knowledge of M&E installation, architecture, structure & M&E local construction practices &
