Job summary

Dexian Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects spanning data centers, networking, HPC and power systems.

You will oversee delivery from planning through deployment, commissioning and handover, coordinating engineering teams, vendors, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure predictable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in data center, networking, HPC, or critical infra.
• Proven delivery of complex infra projects from planning to handover.
• Experience coordinating IT, electrical, and facilities workstreams.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete project lifecycle: scope, schedules, budgets and handover.
• Lead network, HPC, data center upgrades, and power infra deployments.
• Coordinate IT, networking, electrical, and facilities teams to align activities.
• Oversee site readiness, installation, testing, commissioning, migration, and transition.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, risk/issue registers, and progress reports.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects spanning data centers, networking, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and power systems.

You will oversee delivery from initial planning through deployment, commissioning, and handover, bringing together engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders. This role suits someone who combines strong project governance with the technical understanding needed to manage interconnected IT, electrical, and facilities workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete project lifecycle, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, execution, and handover.
• Lead network infrastructure deployments, HPC implementations, data center upgrades, and associated power infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate network, compute, electrical, facilities, and data center engineering teams to align activities and resolve dependencies.
• Oversee site readiness, installation, testing, commissioning, migration, and operational transition.
• Maintain project plans, milestone trackers, risk and issue registers, implementation schedules, and progress reports.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and engineering partners against agreed deliverables, timelines, and quality requirements.
• Identify delivery constraints early and drive mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
• Lead project reviews, technical coordination meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage scope changes and assess their impact on cost, timelines, resources, and delivery.
• Ensure project execution meets applicable safety, technical, operational, quality, and documentation standards.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years of project management experience in data center, networking, HPC, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects involving HPC environments and infrastructure deployment.
• Strong understanding of core networking and data center technologies.
• Working knowledge of data center power distribution, electrical systems, capacity planning, and infrastructure readiness.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across IT, networking, electrical, and facilities functions.
• Strong vendor and contractor management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and complex project dependencies.
• Confident stakeholder communication, reporting, negotiation, and escalation skills.
• Mandatory fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification.
• Exposure to Cisco networking, HPC clusters, high-density compute, and data center power and cooling systems.
• Experience delivering data center build-outs, expansions, migrations, or technology refresh programmes.
• Familiarity with high-power or high-density data center environments.
• Experience supporting hyperscalers, global technology companies, or large enterprises.
• Previous project delivery experience in Singapore or across APAC.
