Job summary

staffhub group pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineer/M&E Manager to lead coordination and technical management of M&E works, ensuring client standards are met and project delivery is timely through collaboration with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors.

The role focuses on supervising design and site activities, ensuring safety and quality, and leading a team of Resident Technical Officers to maintain project momentum. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering accredited by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Senior Engineer or M&E Manager.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to monitor and report on the progress of M&E works.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, sample units, T&C sheets, and work progress reports for M&E projects.
• Design equipment systems including AHU, C-RAC, cooling towers and ensure high-quality construction with safety compliance.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings including site, progress, variation, and coordination sessions.
• Inspect and supervise M&E works such as concreting, pavement, drainage, compaction, curing, formwork and precast/steel erection.
• Provide leadership to Resident Technical Officers for effective site supervision.
• Coordinate with safety team to oversee WASH and aerodrome safety management systems and safe practices on site.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of reports and claims related to M&E works by contractors.
• Verify reports and claims submitted by main and ancillary contractors for validity.
• Resolve queries from main contractors and coordinate onsite works to maintain project flow.

• Design equipment systems including Air Handling Units, Computer Room Air Handling Units, Cooling Towers, Ensure contractors deliver high-quality construction work while maintaining safety practices aligned with statutory requirements
• Attend and actively contribute to project meetings including site, progress, variation, and coordination sessions
• Inspect and supervise M&E works such as concreting, pavement, drainage, compaction, concrete curing, formwork, props management, and quality and erection of precast and steel components
• Manage and provide leadership to Resident Technical Officers to maintain effective site supervision
• Coordinate with the safety team to oversee WASH and aerodrome safety management systems and implement safe working practices on site
• Verify accuracy and completeness of reports and claims related to M&E works submitted by contractors
• Verify reports and claims submitted by main and ancillary contractors to ensure validity
