Job summary

Maestro HR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead learning systems projects, coordinating with stakeholders to implement LMS, LXP, and AI-enabled solutions that enhance workforce development.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, manage client communications, scope, budgets, and timelines while guiding teams through Agile and Waterfall methodologies and ensuring quality across learning technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex projects from initiation to closure.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiar with AI/LLMs and evaluating AI adoption opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of learning development projects, meeting client requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Serve as primary client contact, managing communication and updates.
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables with clients; document scope changes.
• Support AI-enabled learning capabilities such as intelligent search and personalized recommendations.
• Allocate resources to ensure project teams have necessary skills.
• Oversee budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Ensure QA by overseeing testing and validation; drive continuous improvement.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain project documentation for senior management and clients.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and capture lessons learned.

Job Summary

The Project Manager leads the planning, management, and delivery of Learning Systems projects, collaborating with stakeholders to implement LMS, LXP, digital learning, and AI-enabled solutions that enhance organizational learning and workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of learning development projects to meet client requirements, deadlines, and quality standards
• Serve as primary contact for clients and stakeholders, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and providing regular project updates
• Define and clarify project scope, objectives, and deliverables with clients; document and communicate scope changes effectively
• Support planning and implementation of AI-enabled learning capabilities such as intelligent search, personalized recommendations, virtual assistants, learning analytics, and generative AI features
• Allocate internal and external resources to ensure project teams have necessary skills and support to achieve goals
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure completion within scope and schedule
• Manage quality assurance by overseeing testing and validation of learning technology solutions, implementing continuous improvement processes
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, schedules, meeting notes, and status reports for senior management and clients
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success, gather feedback, and integrate lessons learned into future projects

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to closure, ideally 3-5 years in defense, learning, or education sectors
• Degree in Project Management or related field
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello)
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI concepts, with ability to identify AI adoption opportunities that deliver measurable business value

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• PMP or similar project management certification
• Familiarity with e-learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Prior experience working on government agency projects
