Job summary

opus it services pte ltd is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for a 1-year contract based in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. You will oversee a critical learning content project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project management experience in defence or education, with strong skills in Agile and Waterfall methodologies and familiarity with LMS tools. Singaporean candidates only; CAT2 clearance is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management or related field.
• PMI-PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in defence/education sector.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a learning content project meeting client requirements, deadlines and quality standards.
• Serve as primary client contact, managing expectations and providing regular updates.
• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables with clients; manage scope changes.
• Allocate internal and external resources to meet project goals.
• Oversee budgets, timelines and resource allocations to stay on-schedule and within scope.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delivery impact.
• Ensure learning content meets high-quality standards and aligns with client goals.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular status reports to management and clients.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned for future projects.
• After completion, take on additional learning-focused projects with delivery excellence.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee a critical learning content project, with the potential to take on additional learning projects in the future. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with a passion for education and learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of the learning content project from inception to completion, while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Lead the team and manage the end-to-end delivery of a key learning content development project, ensuring it meets client requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on project progress.
• Work with clients to define and clarify project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Ensure that any changes to the project scope are documented and communicated effectively.
• Manage the allocation of internal and external resources, ensuring that the project team has the necessary skills and support to meet project goals.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring that projects are completed within scope and on schedule.
• Identify potential risks or issues affecting the project and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery.
• Ensure that the learning content produced meets high-quality standards and aligns with client expectations, educational goals, and best practices.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting notes, and other relevant materials. Provide regular status reports to senior management and clients.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the success of the project, gather feedback, and implement lessons learned into future projects.
• After the completion of the learning content project, take on additional learning-focused projects, ensuring the same high level of project management and delivery excellence.

Job Specifications

Education

• Degree in Project Management, or a related field.
• PMI-PMP, Prince2 or similar project management certification is a plus.

Experience

• 3-5 years of project management experience, ideally in the defence, learning or education sector.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with eLearning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.

This position is open to Singaporean candidates only. Applicants who have previously obtained Security Clearance (CAT2) will have an added advantage.
