Job summary

RNC Engineering PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager Electrical to lead and coordinate our on-site teams for diversified electrical and instrumentation projects in Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors. You will drive project execution, ensure safety, maintain schedules, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of project management experience, with strong communication and planning skills,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Well-versed in electrical installations and basic design per Singapore Standards.
• Adapt with ISO systems (Quality, Safety & Environmental).
• Knowledge of Lighting, Small power, Earthing, Lightning Protection and ELV systems.
• Strong organisation, planning and prioritising skills.
• Proactive, with strong communication skills.
• 3+ years of Project Manager experience.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience in a live process plant is a plus.
• Class 3 driving licence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the project team on site to ensure timely completion.
• Control costs, manage variations and change requests effectively.
• Oversee procurement of materials in a systematic and efficient manner.
• Manage both in-house and subcontractor workforce on site with safety and quality.
• Liaise with clients on business matters, safety, cost control and execution.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate.

Job Description

• Must be a passionate and energetic leader with the ability to guide, motivate, and manage the team effectively.
• Possess a strong understanding of cost control, variations, and change management.
• Able to monitor and manage procurement of materials in a systematic and efficient manner.
• Capable of managing both in-house and subcontractor workforce on site, ensuring timely completion of works in a safe and quality manner.
• Able to liaise and manage clients effectively with regard to business matters, safety, cost control, and timely execution of construction activities.
• Proactive in identifying potential issues and resolving them before they escal.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognised qualification is required.
• Well-versed both technically and practically in electrical installations and basic design in accordance with Singapore Standards.
• You should adapt with RNC's ISO systems (Quality, Safety & Environmental) and be innovative to suggest improvisation in the system
• Knowledgeable in Lighting, Small power, Earthing, Lightning Protection and ELV systems.
• Good Organisation skills, planning and Prioritizing works
• Possess a proactive "go-getter" mindset with strong communication skills.
• Accountable and responsible for the actions and performance of the site team.Responsible for actions of the Team on site
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a "live" process plant environment is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of instrumentation works will be an added advantage.
• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage.
