CBRE Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Lead responsible for guiding the project management team from initiation through completion in Singapore. You will oversee procurement, budgeting, schedules, and liaise with owners, consultants and contractors to ensure alignment and delivery.

The role requires a degree in a related field, PMP would be advantageous, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in facility management or office renovation projects, including public sector familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project initiation with scope, objectives, timelines and alignment with goals.
  • Develop and execute detailed plans including scheduling, cost estimates and resource planning.
  • Act as main liaison between owners, stakeholders, consultants and contractors for clear communications.
  • Manage end‑to‑end procurement from tender to contractor appointment and value engineering.
  • Review design submissions for compliance and approvals from authorities.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks/delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule/quality.
  • Control scope, budget and changes, ensuring contractual/regulatory compliance including safety standards.
  • Oversee execution to meet specifications, quality, and operational expectations.
  • Manage project completion/closeout including inspections, defect rectification, as-builts and final accounts.

Job description

As a CBRE Project Lead, you be responsible for leading the project management team. This includes but not limited to project execution, managing vendors, preparing project schedules/timelines and budgeting.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion

What You'll Do
  • Lead project initiation, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scheduling, cost estimates, and resource planning.
  • Act as the main liaison between project owners, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement, including tender preparation, evaluation, contractor appointment, and value engineering.
  • Review and coordinate design submissions, ensuring compliance with requirements and timely approvals from relevant authorities.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying risks, delays, and deviations, and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality.
  • Ensure effective control of scope, budget, and changes, maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, including safety standards.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring works are delivered to specification, quality standards, and operational expectations.
  • Manage project completion and closeout, including inspections, defect rectification, documentation (as-builts, warranties), final accounts, and lessons learned.
What You'll Need
  • Degree in Building, Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or any related disciplines from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) would have an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and proven expertise in managing facility management related and office renovation projects.
  • Hands-on experience in Government led initiatives and public sector project processes, including the use of the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) in Singapore would be highly preferred.
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
