Job summary

SINOCON ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee a construction project from initiation to completion, ensuring regulatory compliance, permits, and effective project governance.

The role requires strong leadership, meticulous planning, budget oversight, and the ability to coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, developers and vendors to deliver on time, within budget, and to the desired quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong project management capabilities for construction projects.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools (AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project).
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day site operations, deal with site technical & design issues, communicate & liaise with Clients, Architects, Consultants, Developers & key stakeholders from start to final completion.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth operation and on-time completion within budget and quality expectations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
• Attend required project meetings with consultants and clients, including necessary follow-ups and ensuring project goals are met.
• Set up site meetings with internal teams and project-related vendors to ensure effective progress of project.
• Identify project risks and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Protect company’s interests by minimizing liabilities and risk exposure on-site operations.
• Promote a strong safety culture within the project team and ensure site safety measures are in place.
• Evaluate Monthly Progressive Claims to Consultants & Client.

General Overview:

Seeking an experienced project manager who is responsible for overseeing a construction project. He/she will lead the project from beginning to end, with knowledge about regulations, permits and project management methodology. Able to work well with others, highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

• To plan and manage construction projects in meeting milestones.
• Creating master programme schedule for construction project.
• Budget monitoring and balancing of construction project cost.
• To track work activities in projects from start to end.
• To work well with various vendors, managing supplies and logistics of the project at the best of company interest.

Job Descriptions:

• Able to station at work in project sites and travel to meeting venues as required.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction projects.
