Job summary

Custera O&M Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, coordination and delivery of major civil and infrastructure works, focusing on bearing replacement and installation.

You will oversee safety, quality and schedule, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors. You will manage tendering, technical proposals and project documentation, and ensure compliance with Singapore regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of bearing replacement and installation experience.
• Experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure maintenance projects.

• Diploma or degree in civil or mechanical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Management & Site Operations: Lead, manage and supervise project teams in bearing replacement, installation and maintenance works.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, materials and site activities.
• Oversee daily site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and according to quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve site-related challenges.
• Technical Expertise - Bearing Works: Manage bearing replacement and installation activities for civil infrastructure projects.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, method statements and work procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise lifting, jacking, bearing removal, replacement and installation activities where applicable.
• Ensure all works comply with approved engineering specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as main point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors and relevant stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings, provide progress updates and align project deliverables with client expectations.
• Address client requirements, technical enquiries and project-related issues professionally.
• Tendering & Proposal Preparation: Prepare and submit technical proposals, project quotations and tender documents.
• Review tender requirements, evaluate project feasibility and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams to prepare cost estimates, manpower plans, project schedules and method statements.
• Participate in tender clarifications, technical presentations and client discussions.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all works comply with relevant Singapore workplace safety regulations and project specifications.
• Coordinate with WSH personnel and QA/QC teams to maintain safe working conditions and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of major civil and infrastructure works. The role is responsible for overall programme, engineering, construction, safety, quality, commercial interfaces and stakeholder coordination, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

   • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and project requirements.
   
   
   • Good understanding of project planning, cost control, quality assurance and workplace safety.
