Overview

We are looking to hire a Project Manager for a tech client in Singapore for 12 months & renewable contract role. The Project Manager will lead a team comprising engineers with different technological and domain skills-set to ensure effective and efficient development, implementation and ongoing operations and maintenance of projects to meet contractual requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and prepare implementation strategies to meet key project milestones such as delivery, tests and payment milestones
• Develop Project Management Plans including risk management plan to ensure effective project management and delivery
• Ensure that all projects and products are delivered with the required quality and that appropriate levels of testing and technical governance is carried out in accordance with internal standards and contractual requirements
• Lead and manage project team members, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver project on schedule and cost while meeting project requirements
• Responsible for vendor management including procurement management, contract management to ensure purchase orders and contract terms and conditions are aligned with our obligations to customers and to mitigate any gaps in a prudent manner

Your Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Project Management of large-scale projects with good technical knowledge on .Net, Java, J2EE, Application Servers, Databases, etc. are preferred.
• Customer-oriented and a team player with the ability to effectively lead and motivate team members towards common objectives
• A self-starter and ability to work under pressure and tight schedule with a positive and proactive attitude to anticipate challenges and resolves issues
• Strong competency and experience in managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Project or other project management reporting tools
• Certifications in Project Management such as CSM and/or PMP is preferred
• Experienced in managing projects in public sector
• Experienced in managing Agile implementation is preferred
