Job summary

apar technologies pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex initiatives from inception to delivery.

You will define scope, milestones, budgets, and resource needs while coordinating with business, technology, risk, and regional teams to ensure governance and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on AI/GenAI, data analytics, and data platform programs, requiring strong leadership and risk management across multi-stakeholder environments.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of IT project management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale IT projects.
• Experience delivering AI, GenAI, data analytics, or data platform projects.
• Experience working in banking or financial services environments.
• Experience managing regional multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Good understanding of AI, data analytics, cloud platforms, and modern data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of project risk, issue, dependency, financial, and resource management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, changes, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with business, technology, risk, compliance, vendors, and regional stakeholders.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, governance documents, and management updates.
• Manage JIRA tasks, Kanban boards, daily stand-ups, and project follow-ups.
• Support delivery of AI, GenAI, data analytics, and data platform initiatives.
• Ensure projects follow applicable governance, security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage vendor performance and project financials, including forecasting and cost tracking.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior project managers where required.
