Job summary

Energetix Pte Ltd is a specialist solar PV system integrator that designs, engineers, installs and maintains solar photovoltaic systems for commercial and industrial buildings. We are a growing, cross-cultural team passionate about solar energy.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Project Manager will oversee installation, testing and commissioning, engage sub-contractors, manage budgets and deadlines, and align client expectations. Some projects require travel outside Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in engineering from a recognised university or polytechnic.
• Minimum 3 years' experience installing PV solar systems on commercial/industrial roofs.
• Strong organisational, follow-through and communication skills; dependable and proactive.
• Ability to speak more than 1 language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan and manage project schedules and permits to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with partners, suppliers and client representatives on projects.
• Ensure onsite safety per local regulations and achieve zero fatality or lost time injuries.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and provide status updates in meetings.
• Provide sales support, assist in tenders, RFQs and budgets.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall installation, testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems. He/she will identify and engage sub-contractors to support and coordinate project tasks in addition to managing project budgets, deadlines and client expectations. Some projects are based outside Singapore, so a willingness to travel is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, plan and actively manage project schedules and all components including necessary permits to meet installation timelines.
• Collaborate with partners, suppliers and client representatives on projects, including attending client meetings as necessary.
• Ensure workplace safety is strictly implemented onsite in compliance with local regulations, to ensure zero fatality or lost time injuries.
• Responsible for detailed documentation of projects.
• Participate in regular internal technical meetings to provide project status updates, discuss project resources and other needs.
• Provide sales support function when required, and assist in tenders, RFQs & budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or diploma in engineering from a recognised university or polytechnic
• Minimum 3 years' experience in installing PV solar systems on commercial and or industrial roofs.
• Strong organisational, follow-through and communication skills - must be dependable, proactive and prompt
• Ability to speak more than 1 language
