Job summary

9 SOLAR FINTECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to manage end-to-end solar EPC projects, bridging our team and customers.

You will ensure timely delivery, support pre-sales, conduct technical presentations, and grow as a well-rounded solar professional. Coordinate projects from commencement to commissioning, liaise with customers, subcontractors, LEWs, suppliers and internal teams, and maintain accurate project records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, or operations; Solar/EPC/Electrical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate solar EPC projects from commencement through to commissioning, handover, and close-out; maintain schedules and milestones.
• Liaise with customers, subcontractors, LEWs, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth site mobilization, work progress and quality.
• Raise purchase orders, track material deliveries and coordinate equipment availability to align with project timelines.
• Prepare progress claims, invoices, and completion documents; maintain project records (POs, DOs, reports).
• Conduct solar presentations to prospective and existing clients; address technical queries on design, performance and installation.
• Assist sales/BD with technical input during proposals, including site assessment insights and basic system configuration advice.
• Identify workflow gaps and suggest practical solutions to improve project efficiency.

• Liaise with customers, subcontractors, LEWs, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth site mobilization, work progress, and quality compliance.
• Raise purchase orders, track material deliveries, and coordinate equipment availability to align with project timelines.
• Prepare progress claims, invoices, and completion documents. Maintain accurate project records (POs, DOs, reports).
• Conduct solar presentations to prospective and existing clients. Address technical queries regarding system design, performance, and installation processes.
• Assist the sales/business development team by providing technical input during the proposal stage, including site assessment insights and basic system configuration advice.
• Identify workflow gaps and suggest practical solutions to improve project efficiency.

Preferred competencies and qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, or operations.Solar/EPC/Electrical background is highly preferred.
• Ablility to read single-line diagrams, understand basic PV system components, and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Comfortable handling multiple projects and customer-facing meetings.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project).
