Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong interest in renewable energy and solar PV technology.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of project management concepts is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Class 3 driving license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in coordinating solar PV projects to meet deadlines and budget.
• Create project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting timelines or quality.
• Support documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor progress, milestones, and KPIs.
• Communicate with stakeholders and provide project updates.
• Participate in site visits and learn from field challenges.
• Learn and use project management software and tools.
• Assist business development for feasibility studies if required.
• Support O&M during DLP and resolve system issues.
• Assist finance with site payment AR/AP issues.
• Assist procurement with stock coordination and logistics.

What you'll be doing

• Assist project managers in coordinating and managing solar PV projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget

• Participate in project planning activities, including creating project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution

• Help identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact project timelines or quality

• Support the preparation and submission of project documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance requirements

• Assist in monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and reporting on key performance indicators

• Contribute to effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and addressing inquiries as needed

• Participate in site visits and inspections to gain hands-on experience and understand project challenges

• Learn to use project management software and tools to organize tasks and monitor project status

• Assist Business Development/ Engineering team for feasibility study if required

• Assist O&M team to resolve system issue during DLP period

• Assist Finance team to clarify site payment AR or AP issue

• Assist procurement team regarding procurement, stock coordination and logistic arrangement
